If you look, there are still threads about max items with q7 still. However, most of them are uninscribable and most I've seen are light blue.

About discontinued mods:

Since Vampiric mod can only drop on gold items, only the max 3/-1 or 5/-1 (depending on weapon type) and occassional crappy 4/-1s can be generated.
All those 1/-1, 2/-1 and 3/-1s (for weapons where 5 is the max) should be considered discontinued items.

And another thing: There's a "+30hp^x on shields." on the list. I call WTF? Why not conditional +29 or +31, what's so special about +30?

I suppose it might be a misconception caused by certain BS marketing created by sellers of oldschool gold shields like +30(in stance)/-2(in stance) and calling them oldschool perfects or something like that. I remember the trading in LA back in 2005, gold shields like +30(ench)/-2 were easily sold for surprisingly good prices and at the same time +31(ench)/-2 was an obvious crap, much harder to sell.
So that +30 isn't any special, the values for those mods on gold shields before Factions update were in the range of ~27-45 (not counting while hexed mod which was earlier changed from 45 to 60 max, change didn't affect existing items)

I have nothing to offer this thread as everything I can think of seems to be covered, but:

We should assume, if Gaile was right *cough*minipolarbear*cough*, that she meant max r7s. Obviously non-max r7s drop.

Vamp bow in presearing with discontinued vamp mod. These use to drop in presearing LONG before the "guild hall glitch". Another thing that use to drop in presearing are weapons with the mod +12% -1 health regen.

Good one. I've also removed the -3/10% on shields. same principle, isn't it?

I would think Vamp weapons in presearing should be on the worthy list. They slightly speed up death leveling when going for LDOA and they are worth 100ectos++ They are highly prized in the pre community.

I see the point.

But even though I see how the importance of the existence of those items in pre is greater than the minority of the discontinued non-max mods, I exclude this due to it being relevant only to 'the pre game', which is generally separate from the 'the gw game' and 'the gw world of trade'.

There was a guy with a screen shot of getting req 7 inscrib daggers.

Yes. It was a healing requirement in the past. I still have one.


Other things I can remember:

One for debate:

I got this shield pre-inscriptions. Under the inscription system, it would have two inscriptions and zero handles. Is such a thing still possible? I haven't seen it since.
